Lucrecia's mind isn't always thinking about experimenting on things, it is always set on coming up with new thesis that involve helping people however. Her heart is usually in the right place, and is always thinking of others. When someone she cares for is in trouble her kindness pulls through and she does her best to save them.Lucrecia may have many flaws but her first main one is focusing on her mistakes too much. Due to losing so much she lingers on them which makes her doubt the choices she makes. It also makes her lose a lot of confidence in the work she does and in relationships she is trying to be in.
Another one she has is acting too impulsively. Which means she sometimes does things without thinking about them. Pushover is the final aspect that Lucrecia retains for she could never stand up to Hojo forming her forever long regret. In truth Lucrecia is an amazing woman who has flaws just like a normal person does. Her actions around others, normally polite and or if she truly knows them. Since losing everything, Lucrecia has chosen to choose her comrades better and never be used like she has been in the past. Since awakening she has steeled herself to be a fighter like Vincent so that she too can make up for her mistakes.

History:
On July 22nd a small little baby girl was born to a Seras and Alexander Crescent two kind scientists who wanted the best for their daughter. Both were skilled scientists so it wasn't entirely surprising that their daughter would grow up to be one too. By the age of five Lucrecia had already started reading her parents research notes (even though she didn't fully understand them then) and even started making her own (though every flawed). Over the years she branched out, studying many fields and other scientists. Biotechnology was her first love, and she couldn't help but imagine the many people she would and could help with it.
Another five years passed and Lucrecia seemed to study more and more with her parents fully supporting her and introducing her to people who would help her. Her studies made a bit withdrawn from society for she always deep into them never paying attention to anyone else. Due to that many people called her names, and rejected her when she tried to befriend them while not studying. But that didn't stop her, she kept pushing herself and studying.
Her studies got her noticed and soon she became the assistant to a man named Dr Grimoire Valentine, the father of her future love, Vincent Valentine. Grimoire and Lucrecia spent much time together and ended up discovering two weapons made by the planet and used for the Lifestream’s emergency weapon.
Other then finding two weapons that were made by the planet Lucrecia and Grimoire also found a Crystal Cave, where it was thought that Chaos (One of the planets weapons) would wake up when needed. But right after Chaos was found Dr. Grimoire was killed by the attack saving Lucrecia. Soon after that happened Lucrecia’s work was branded as complete nonsense. After the fascinating research was called nonsense, Lucrecia was promoted and soon went to work with two more scientist named Dr. Gast and Hojo. The project the three of them were working on was called The Jenova Project. At that time a boy named Vincent Valentine, the son of Grimoire Valentine, was given the task of watching over Lucrecia and the Jenova Project. Lucrecia recognized Vincent and was then completely shocked that Shinra would send the son of her deceased mentor.
In spite of what had happened, she still welcomes Vincent, and even started spending time with him when not working. But she kept knowing his father a secret. Later on after time passed, Vincent and Lucrecia had become close enough that they had picnics and even laughed together at times. Yet this wouldn't last due to Vincent finding a file of his father pulled up on Lucrecia's computer. The file was records of the time that Lucrecia worked with him. When Vincent asked Lucrecia why she never told him about his father, she told him that she was the one responsible for his death. But Vincent never thought that she was the cause of his fathers death despite what Lucrecia thought.
Vincents' attempts to talk to Lucrecia made her feel more guilt over Dr.Grimoire's death than she ever had before. This put a strain on Vincent and Lucrecia's bond, causing her to spend more time Hojo and look for comfort from the insane scientist. Lucrecia soon became 'romantically' involved with Hojo, and soon married him (though there was no love on Lucrecia's part towards her partner). During that time, she become pregnant with Hojo's child, who decided to use her with her approval as an experiment subject. Due to that she and her un-born child were injected with Jenova Cells. However, the cells had a horrible unexpected side effect dealing with visions about her son Sephiroth, and the future actions that her son would commit. Due to these visions being extremely painful Lucrecia often collapsed in pain.
Soon after Vincent tried to confront Hojo about Lucrecia's situation, but instead of saying anything about it Hojo shot him and used the corpse as an experiment. When Hojo labeled him as a failure and threw him away Lucrecia was the one to find him. Lucrecia, was extremely devastated about Vincent's death, used her knowledge of Chaos to bring back Vincent by infusing tainted mako into him. The process worked on Vincent (possibly due to Hojo previously experimenting on him).
But Chaos had become out of control and could only be controlled by the Protomateria. The Protomateria was discovered by Grimoire along with Chaos. Lucrecia came up with a theory that the materia had been created by the Planet so its creation could be calmed. She put the materia inside of Vincent's chest and soon after Vincent was able to control Chaos. But while it halted Vincent's decaying body, it did not bring him back. While she researched further she gave birth to her son, Sephiroth.
The moment that he was born Sephiroth was taken from Lucrecia, she never even got to hold him. After-wards Lucrecia divorced Hojo who didn't care about the damage he'd caused, unlike Lucrecia. Due to all of those emotions she tried killing herself, but due to the Jenova Cells in her body she never really died. Before leaving she left records about Chaos and Omega for Vincent in case he ever woke up. She disappeared soon after and wasn't found until nearly three decades had passed.
Vincent found her encased in mako crystals, his presence woke her though only temperarally. They spoke and when asked about her son Vincent lied to her, telling her that he was dead, she knew this wasn't true however because she'd seen what he'd done in her dreams (or rather nightmares). When Vincent left she returned to her sleep. As she slept she repeated the saying 'I'm so sorry' over and over again, until she had a dream where she helped Vincent. She slowly started to awaken but was too weak to break free. As Vincent leaves for the final time a tears rolls down her cheek as if sensing that he's begun to forgive her.
Recently however she has grown stronger and her eyes have even began to flicker. All she needs is the right push and she'll be strong enough to awaken.

Away from the eyes of the citizens of Midgar there was a place of beauty that very few ever had the pleasure of seeing and those that had would have problems describing its beauty in words and do it justice. The Crystal Cave.
Large crystals decorated the cave, expanding from a single point of origin. There was something different about these crystals, there where different from the other mineral crystals that could be found with the caves, little clusters that illuminated the caves when light hit off them but these crystals didn’t do that. These were crystallised mako or mako crystals as they more commonly called by the scientists. It had one purpose but that was not what it was being used for now. The first of which was strengthening a weakened body, the only problem with that was that in most cases the subject became reliant on mako to keep their body working. But they weren’t strengthening a body here…They were keeping one alive.
When mako is crystallized around a living creature it sent the creature into a state of suspended animation. Living but unmoving, un-aging and for the most part unfeeling or thinking, they were lost within constant dreams. In most cases.
Within these mako crystals there was a woman that was almost angelic in appearance, untouched by time. She looked peaceful but at the same time not. Her hair was chocolate brown and held back by a bit of golden material, her skin was pale and behind her pale eyelids were warm chocolate eyes. She was mysterious and beautiful, a mystery to almost all who looked upon her. She wore a white lab coat which led many to the conclusion that she was a scientist and they’d be right. She was a scientist, she was once one of the best.
Her name was Lucrecia Crescent.
For three decades she’d remained in suspended animation, lost in her own never ending dreams except for one brief period when she was awoken by the voice of Vincent. She was living but unable to cause Vincent any more pain, just as she wanted…Barely two months ago she’d began to wake up. Lucrecia had held conversations with those that had found her, speaking into their minds while her lips remained unmoving. Slowly but surely she’d felt her strength returning, soon. Very soon she would awaken fully and break free of her prison and finally search for her love and find out about her son…
Her Sephiroth. How old would he have been now? Did he look like his father? She really hoped not, Hojo had never been good looking. Had he known anything about her? Was he even aware of the fact that his mother didn’t want to leave him, that he was taken from her? So many questions she wanted to ask him but would never have the chance to…What about Vincent? Was he alive and well? Did he still think of her? Did he still love her?
Her eyes flickered and her finger twitched. She was so close to waking fully but thoughts kept pulling her back, fears…What if she just ended up hurting Vincent more than she already had, what if he’d moved on? No, she couldn’t falter now. Her eyes opened suddenly and the crystals around her shattered, she fell to her knees, feeling light headed and weak, the cave was spinning around her and then nothing…Darkness. She lay on the ground, her eyes closed but breathing and free.
