For decades, a group of three scientists on Earth, in America, had been working on creating a portal that would be capable of transporting people to other worlds. They were written off by society as crazy for having such beliefs that these other worlds even existed. Still, they decided to continue with their work. A few years after being written off by the majority of the other scientists, they had a break through. They had created a door to the outside worlds.
Sadly, what they failed to realize was that an open portal meant that they allowed beings to come and go as they pleased, wandering from one world to the next. Unable to shut the portal back up, the scientists realized that they had to do something to keep this disaster under control. The other worlds brought magic, something Earth hadn't realize existed, and unknown weapons. Earth's armies were no match for such a force. As a solution, the scientists began to recruit heroes from all of the worlds to work as inter-dimensional peace keepers. A large building was set up, on Earth, as a base to house and allow the heroes to train amongst each other to become stronger. If they were going to keep the worlds safe, they had to work together and become a team.
